Exciting news for fans of city-building games as Frostpunk 2 has just announced a delay in its release date. Originally scheduled to launch on July 25, the highly anticipated narrative-driven sequel will now be arriving on September 20. Developer 11 Bit Studios made the decision to postpone the release after receiving feedback from a recent beta test.

In a statement released by design director Jakub Stokalski and art director Lukasz Juszczyk, they expressed their gratitude for the positive feedback received from beta testers, with an average rating of 8 out of 10. However, they acknowledged that there were areas that needed improvement and decided to take more time to address these issues to ensure the best possible experience for players.

The additional time will be used to work on new additions to existing game mechanics, as well as improvements to the UI and UX. This dedication to refinement and quality is a testament to the developer’s commitment to delivering a top-notch gaming experience.
