The development team at Digital Eclipse, now part of Atari, is pulling out all the stops to make this compilation even more exciting for fans.
One of the key additions to the game is the “The Wider World of Atari” timeline, which includes 19 playable games and eight video segments. Dive into topics such as the creation of Breakout by Pong creator Al Alcorn, the story behind Atari’s iconic “Fuji” logo by artist Evelyn Soto, and a detailed look at Stern Electronics’ Berzerk.
Another exciting timeline is “The First Console War”, featuring 20 playable games and six video segments. Explore the legendary rivalry between the Atari 2600 and Mattel’s Intellivision, with insights from industry veterans like Don Daglow, David Crane, and Garry Kitchen. Discover rare prototypes and playable M Network games in this captivating historical journey.
