Upgrade Your Viewing Experience with Roku’s Pro Series QLED TV

Enhance Your Home Entertainment with Roku’s Pro Series QLED TV

When my husband and I decided to replace our Vizio OLED TV with Roku’s Pro Series QLED, we were amazed by the difference it made. Even our children, aged 7 and 9, were mesmerized when they watched their favorite show, Steven Universe. “Why does it look so much better now?” my daughter asked, highlighting the impressive visual impact of the QLED technology.

The contrast between OLED and QLED is undeniable, as detailed in our How to Buy a TV guide. While OLED offers beautiful, deep blacks ideal for cinematic viewing in a dark room, QLED excels in brightness. This brightness factor is especially appealing for young viewers engrossed in animated cartoons while being active around the living room, or for busy parents trying to catch a glimpse of a sports game while multitasking.

Roku’s Pro Series QLED represents a significant step as the first TV developed entirely in-house by Roku. Following a positive review of the entry-level Roku TV by my colleague, my family and I have spent a month exploring the upgraded Roku Pro Series and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance.

In addition to its specifications and performance, one of the standout features of any Roku device is its user-friendly interface. Transitioning from my Vizio OLED to the Roku TV was a breeze, eliminating the need to navigate through complex interfaces or adjust cables each time. The seamless integration of external devices, such as Sonos soundbars or gaming consoles, into the Roku interface was a welcome relief.

The Roku TV comes equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports, HDMI eARC, USB-A, USB-C, and cable inputs, providing ample connectivity options for various devices. Setting up popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Fubo is a simple process, requiring just a few clicks to add channels and sign in.

Furthermore, the intuitive interface makes it effortless to discover new content to watch. Unlike the cluttered interface of our previous TV, Roku’s interface enables easy access to educational content, encouraging our kids to explore new shows like CuriosityStream and PBS Kids. This unexpected discovery has added value, especially during the summer when kids seek refuge indoors for entertainment.
