With the highly anticipated release of Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws approaching later this month, fans are buzzing with excitement as more details on the post-launch content have been shared. Ubisoft has confirmed that players can look forward to two thrilling story packs, which will be available either through the season pass or as standalone purchases.
Season-pass holders will be treated to an exclusive mission titled “Jabba’s Gambit,” where they will have the chance to meet up with the notorious crime lord. Ubisoft also announced that all players will have the opportunity to encounter the leader of the Hutt Cartel, despite initial statements suggesting the mission was exclusive to season-pass holders. As for the upcoming story expansions, Ubisoft has revealed that the first one, titled Wild Card, is scheduled for release in Fall 2024. In this expansion, players will join protagonist Kay Vess as she infiltrates a high-stakes Sabacc tournament and crosses paths with the galaxy’s smoothest gambler, Lando Calrissian. However, Kay quickly realizes that there’s more at stake in the tournament than just credits.
Looking ahead to 2025, players can anticipate the release of the second story expansion, A Pirate’s Fortune. This story will follow Kay as she encounters the infamous Hondo Ohnaka, who is on a mission to settle scores with some space pirates. Fans of Ohnaka from previous Star Wars TV series can expect his trademark double-crossing antics and charming charisma to come into play in this thrilling adventure.
Star Wars Outlaws is set to launch on August 30 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
