Unlocking Wheels: Crafting Vehicles in 7 Days to Die
7 Days to Die’s Navezgane map is vast and waiting to be explored, but the journey can be slow without a set of wheels to speed things up. Luckily, there are ways to craft your own vehicles and navigate the apocalypse with ease. Here’s everything you need to know to get rolling in the game.
How to Craft Vehicles and Obtain a Bicycle
One way to obtain a mode of transportation is by completing 10 trader quests from Rekt, which will reward you with a bicycle. This bike offers nine storage slots and a faster way to traverse the map without the need for fuel. Alternatively, you can craft vehicles by reading vehicle magazines. Crafting a minibike requires 20 magazines, a larger motorbike needs 45, a 4-wheeler demands 70, and crafting a gyrocopter calls for reading 100 magazines.
As you gather resources and read more magazines, you’ll be able to craft higher-tier vehicles. By the time you reach vehicles like the 4-wheeler, you may have scavenged enough parts to create your own, with wheels being one of the essential components required.

Acquiring Wheels for Your Vehicle
Wheels are crucial for crafting your own vehicle, and there are various ways to obtain them:
- Randomly from looting or disassembling cars with a wrench tool
- Sometimes from traders
- By crafting them at the workbench (requires 3 forged iron, 24 scrap polymer, 2 oil, 16 coal, and 1 bottle of acid per tire)
Investing points into the Grease Monkey skill allows you to craft vehicle parts using fewer materials. However, it’s recommended to prioritize essential survival skills before venturing into vehicle crafting.
