The August batch of Xbox Game Pass stands out with Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the remastered installments of Naughty Dog’s beloved 3D platformers.
Vicarious Visions (now known as Blizzard Albany) released the remastered trilogy in 2017. It includes Crash Bandicoot (1996), Cortex Strikes Back (1997), and Warped (1998).
While not all remasters are received favorably amongst respective fans, the N. Sane Trilogy scored quite favorable reviews from players and critics alike, boasting a hefty score of 80 on Metacritic and a Very Positive rating on Steam.
Naughty Dog developed the original Crash Bandicoot games for the PlayStation, which became a cult classic for the console’s fans.
