In addition, Robert Bowling, the head of Midnight Society studio, shared a message on his X account soon after Beahm’s statement:
This is a personal statement from me and does not represent any companies or undergo legal or PR approval.
If you send inappropriate messages to a minor, I cannot work with you.

Original Story from June 25, 2024 at 7:36 a.m. CT:
Midnight Society studio announced the termination of its partnership with streamer Guy Beahm, known as Dr. Disrespect, following allegations related to his previous Twitch ban in 2020.
Last Friday, Cody Conners, a former Twitch employee, hinted on Twitter that Beahm was banned due to inappropriate interactions with a minor using Twitch’s messaging system. Conners’ post implied that Beahm was trying to arrange a meeting with the minor at TwitchCon. This revelation led to Midnight Society terminating its relationship with Beahm after conducting an investigation.
He got banned because got caught sexting a minor in the then-existing Twitch whispers product. He was trying to meet up with her at TwitchCon. The powers that be could read in plain text. Case closed, gang.

Despite not being explicitly named by Conners, it was evident that Beahm was the subject of the allegations. Beahm responded from his Dr. Disrespect account, stating that the issue had been resolved without admitting any wrongdoing.
Following his Twitch ban in 2020, Beahm expressed confusion over the reasons behind the ban. However, after a legal battle with Twitch, the case was settled with no party acknowledging wrongdoing. Subsequently, Beahm established Midnight Society, a game development studio, but the recent allegations led to his termination from the company.
Given the legal constraints surrounding the situations, further details may not be publicly disclosed. Beahm’s current standing in the gaming community remains uncertain as the fallout from the recent allegations unfolds.
