Larry Kuperman (LK): As fans of the original game and the 1982 movie, Nightdive Studios saw an opportunity to give something special to fans of the IP and the horror genre. We wanted to bring a beloved title back to life for a new generation of gamers.
TA: What can players expect from The Thing: Remastered?
LK: The remastered version will stay true to the original game while incorporating improvements in character models, textures, and animations. Our collaboration with original team members ensures an authentic experience that honors the game’s legacy.

TA: How long has Nightdive Studios been working on this project?
LK: Our team has dedicated close to a year to The Thing: Remastered, alongside other projects, including some exciting unannounced titles.
TA: What lessons from previous remasters have informed the development of The Thing: Remastered?
LK: Our focus on preserving the original vision of the development team and enhancing the player experience has guided our approach to this remaster.

TA: Will players have the option to experience the original visuals and controls?
LK: As of now, we do not have plans for an option to revert to the original visuals and controls.
The Steam store page for The Thing: Remastered lists impressive features such as anti-aliasing, 4K resolution, and enhanced gameplay support up to 144 fps.
