Exciting news for gamers! The latest Nintendo Direct may not have revealed the successor to the Switch just yet, but it’s definitely not too late to get your hands on the current Nintendo Switch. And with some amazing deals available right now, there’s no better time to make the purchase. If you’re looking to dive into the world of mobile gaming, you can snag a turquoise Nintendo Switch Lite for just $169 on Amazon. Alternatively, Walmart is offering a special edition Animal Crossing turquoise console bundled with New Horizons for $199.

Not a fan of the turquoise color? Don’t worry, Walmart has you covered with discounts on other Switch Lite models as well. You can get the blue edition for $172.39, coral for $178, and yellow for $179. While these are sold by third-party sellers, they are fulfilled and shipped by Walmart and come with a free 30-day return window. And if you prefer the eye-catching yellow console, Walmart has it on sale for just $168.50, a significant discount from its usual $200 price tag.

Even though we’re approaching the end of the Switch’s lifecycle, its extensive library of games ensures that it will remain relevant for years to come. From first-party titles like Super Mario Bros. Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to a wide range of indie games supported by third-party developers, the Switch Lite offers something for everyone. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service provides retro gaming fans with plenty of options.

Before making your purchase, keep in mind that Nintendo will be releasing a gold Zelda-themed Switch Lite on September 26, coinciding with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Preorders are not yet available in North America, but the console will come bundled with a year of Nintendo Switch Online.

And for current Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED owners, Amazon and Walmart are currently offering discounts on Joy-Con controllers. Switch Lite users can also use Joy-Cons in tabletop mode, although the smaller 5.5-inch screen may be limiting. Don’t forget to grab a stand to prop up your Switch for optimal gameplay experience.
