The studio initially aimed to release Phasmophobia on consoles in August of 2023 but faced delays due to unforeseen challenges. After a series of setbacks, the release was postponed to October of the same year. However, further challenges caused another delay, and now the new release date is set for October 2024.
Kinetic Games has announced that the console update will be released during the in-game Halloween event. While the exact date was not provided, fans can expect it to be in the second half of October, aligning with previous events.
Once launched, the console update will feature cross-play functionality, allowing players from all platforms to join in, including VR users.
